Sorry : what is ITN ?

Personaly, even if I can't book, I use biztravel.com which is very useful.

I agree. Maybe if we speak up about it, they will do something about it. I have booked tickets with them before but they have lost my business. I liked the availabilty results (F9Y9L9 etc.) to check the chances of a oversold flight. However, it has become cheaper and rewarding to use the airline websites directly - for example, NWA will give you 4,000 miles for a online purchase. They are saving money by not paying the commission to trip.com and you did not call a 1-800 number and speak to a agent.

Tim - Just a minor clarification. Northwest gives you 4000 worldperks miles only once for your first online reservation. After the initial 4000, they will give you 1000 per online reservation.

If I am not mistaken, ITN was bought by AMerican Express a ways back. I used to find a flight to Great Abaco once--it was great for stuff like that. It hasn't been the same since. I agree, biztravel is a great resource.

I used to use trip.com too, since it had less slow-loading crap around the bookings screen. But now, I can't get into it at all. It takes a couple of minutes to load www.trip.com. Then, if I click on "flights", I wait about 3 mins and get this:

"Failure of server APACHE bridge:

Request timed out after 120 seconds

Build date/time: Dec 4 2000 10:43:31"

How do you get it to respond at all? For those who've managed to get the site to work, is it still using the old user profiles? Have they got rid of the option for showing full class availability, or have they maybe just not implemented it properly?
