Chicago reporter looking for help!
 

Hi.

I am a reporter with the Chicago Sun-Times and I'm working on a story about executive lounges at ORD.

I was hoping to get some insight from you seasoned travelers about how the ORD lounges - all the airlines - stack up with those in other airports. I was also hoping to ask about what makes a good lounge, who has the best, etc.

First, welcome to FT.

Just sent you a note re the CO/NW club at ORD Terminal 2.

I wouldn't move it to the UA forum as ORD is also a hub for AA and most int'l carriers probably have clubs there too.

I cross-posted this into the UA forum at http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=382840. Many of the members don't make it to this forum, so hopefully, this will help you out.

If you want to do a little surfing on your own, do a search on "RCC" in the United Mileage Plus forum; you'll find a lot of opinions...

I am a brand new Premier Executive 1K, after being Premier Exec. for last 2 years. I have been debating whether to join RCC as I fly through ORD very frequently. I would be more than happy to use some "free" passes and do some research, with the perspective of brand new eyes.

Don't feel too bad Scott. Most reporters are just doing that one story and moving onto the next, they just want your comments and won't get back to you unless they have follow up questions. I know, it happend to me like it has to you when I contacted the Washington Post and Wall Street Journal over the past few years after I responded to their FT inquiries.
