So, after years of insisting that nobody needs anything bigger than a 747, they've finally noticed all those customers bringing their checkbooks to Tolouse.

Not the first time. Computer industry "old-timers" (everything's relative, it was the mid-80s) may remember Digital founder Ken Olsen insisting that nobody needs a computer on their desk. There are another zillion true examples. Marketing myopia is not dead!
