Buy 2 gift cards and get the third one w/o a service fee.
Although, I wish I could buy 2 for $750 each and get a free $750 gift card. :p Ken in Phx |

Is this deal any good? Anything like CO?
|
Not as good as CO. Per their site max $100/day from ATMs and $50 cash advances. It doesn't mention if they give you a pin...if they do, you could use them for money orders. Works out close to 1 cent/mile with the above promo code.
I will wait... |
Sorry I just realized CO likely meant Charter One (I thought it referred to an existing Continental offer).

There is $2.50 charge for each ATM withdrawal, even if you use B of A AtM.
Read the tcs before jumping in not worth it, in my opinion |
Sorry for being lazy and not finding out myself (it looked like I had to complete the order form) what cards do they take? Is it just Visa/MC or AMEX , ect? Thanks

It could incur a cash advance fee on your visa. Anyone try this with the United Mileage Plus Visa?
From T&C "If I use my credit card to purchase a Gift Card, will I be charged a cash-advance fee? If you use a Bank of America credit card to purchase a Gift Card, your credit card won’t be charged a cash-advance fee. If you use a non-Bank of America credit card to purchase a Gift Card, you may be charged a fee — check with your card issuer to know for sure. " JudyJFLA Go Red Sox! |

New promo code Gift-13 for 30% off service fee
I'm surpised this thread got no attention, with this code or with Gift-21 the cost of the mile is 0.74 cents.
I called customer service and found out that pin-based transaction do not incure extra fees, so money order route works. Also, cashback at POS terminals works with no fees, some free cash withdrawals here. Might be not a great deal, but combined with some promotion for cards with double miles or > 1% cashback comes out not bad either... |
