Skyauction
 

Many of the tickets offered on SkyAuction do
not reveal whether miles are awarded or not on tickets purchased. Apparently at least some of the airlines who don't specifically
mention awarding miles in fact do so.

Does anyone who which airlines do or do not
award miles on there Skyauction tickets? I am particularly interested in USAirways (I need some miles to combine with AA miles)

I received AA miles on a Japan Airlines flight that I bought thru SkyAuction, even though the description of the trip said nothing about being eligible for frequent flyer miles.
Have you tried emailing SkyAuction to ask them this question?

Virtually all of the auction items state in the description that frequent flyer miles are given. I have personally received NW miles on CO metal to Latin America plus bonuses.

I have tried emailing SkyAuctions, but all they will tell me is that I will find out after I win a ticket and start setting travel
dates. Obviously, it helps to know when you
are bidding because it impacts how much you bid. Some airlines seem to regularly state
that miles are awarded, others like USAirways
say nothing either way.
