How do you earn miles?
 

If you have a ticket booked with one * airline but choose to get your miles in another * FF program(AC for instance) how will they give you the miles? Will they give it based on the booking class or on the fare basis or on a combination?

If I have a ticket booked in a class that is eligble for miles but the fare basis is very odd and I just pay for the airport taxes will I get miles on that ticket?
