Great Circle Mapper out of action?
Great Circle Mapper, one of my favourite travel sites, appears to have been out of action for a few days:
http://gc.kls2.com Any alternative sites out there that allow one to calculate mileage based on airport codes? |

There's also the I Travel, You Travel Calculator:
http://www.ityt.com/mileagecalculator/index.php And the Webflyer Mileage Calculator: http://www.webflyer.com/travel/milemarker/ But, vtqanh is right, Flyertalker rmyadsk's Flying Fish is a great tool: http://flyingfish.oscarfish.com/?zone=download - You can view the discussion located here. |
Yeah, its definetly not working. I hope it comes back as it is one of my essential online travel tools. Also, I find their declared mileage between two cities to almost always be the same as what airlines credit.

Flying Fish is great!
I'd agree with previous posts & recommend downloading Flying Fish.

I just wish it ran on a usable operating system...

I hope GCM comes back soon. webflyer is good for some purposes but prefer GCM for tweaking complex routings

I don't really see what this has to do with the latest frequent flyer program buzz, nor the "Great Circle Mapper" support forum.
I'm going to go ahead and close this here. Regards, Flipside |
