AltaVista is discontinuing its rewards program. As of November 15, 2000 Members will no longer be able accumulate Rewards points on AltaVista Shopping. I'm not surprised. It was a very troubled program.

Did this a couple of days ago and the credit showed up the next day. This program could have been good, but I think the Altavista site was too expansive to maintain a points program effectively.

I imagine most of us were converting the points to Clickmiles anyway, so it just sped up the process and ... with a better return.

Just a reminder to everyone to transfer over any remaining AltaVista rewards they have. I got about 80 Clicks, which is better than nothing for my remaining AV rewards.
