2500 Free USAirways Miles for email referal

Hi,

Just received an email from USAir with a 500 free bonus mile incentive per person (maximum 5) of people who you refer to E-Savers emails (as long as they are not receiving etc) at
http://www.processrequest.com/usairw...ct/friends.asp

offer closes October 31 and USAir will send an email to you shortly afterwards with the number of successful referals (and one assumes miles.)

Thanks a lot Andrewcx. That is a great post. I look forward to the miles...hopefully.

Awesome, Andrewcx. But I'm not sure if my wife is currently registered with e-savers. She has a Dividend Miles number, and her profile lists an e-mail address. Does that pretty much conclude that I can't use her as a "refer-ee?"

Also, I couldn't find a number to call UsAir to ask this question. D'you know?

Looks like it doesn't matter if she already has a Dividend Miles number. Only if she is or is not a current subscriber to the e-mail updates.

>>** Bonus Miles Terms and Conditions: Dividend Miles member can earn 500 bonus miles per qualified E-Savers subscriber. Limit of five qualified E-Savers referrals per Dividend Miles member. E-Savers subscriber referral must not already appear on the US Airways E-Savers subscriber list to qualify for the mileage bonus. Dividend Miles member must refer up to five qualified E-Savers subscribers by October 31, 2000, to be eligible for the bonus. Only the original e-mail recipient qualifies for the bonus miles offer. Only one Dividend Miles member will be eligible for the mileage bonus per E-Savers subscriber referral. Please allow three weeks for bonus miles to appear in your Dividend Miles account. All official Dividend Miles program terms and conditions apply.<<

Thanks ANDREWCX! Great deal.

One could go to yahoo and set up five accounts, then refer these accounts to US Airways for the e-saver email promo.

In theory, of course. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/tongue.gif

Unfortunately, the rules specifically state:

Only the original e-mail recipient
qualifies for the bonus miles offer.

I'm not sure if they will enforce this, though.

Darien,
I read that two ways. First I thought that it might mean that only someone like Andrewcx could get the referral bonus. (he
got an email from US Air.) But after reading it several times, I decided they meant that only someone whose email is typed on the web page can validate the referral. I.e. it can't be passed on to a 3rd email address.
I certainly admit see some ambiguity there.

Must the referd person be a member of US FT program? If not its quit easy to get 2500miles(that hopfully will became UA MP miles one beautiful day)

When the "referred person" receives an email about signing up for the email updates, they have the option of also signing up for a Dividend Miles flyer number, but that is just an option.

I too received this e-mail, but would like to warn others! - only MINUTES after I referred 5 friends I recieved an e-mail from them stating that none of my friends had choosen to join and that the promo had ended and I received NO bonus miles. I responded to them w/e-mail that this was a lousy way to build their cliental and that they must first allow the people to respond to the e-mail. They responded that the messsage I received was in error and the promo was still ongoing and that they WOULD credit my acct w/the max.2500 miles in advance. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

Checked my acct moments ago (in which over a week has passed since promised the miles) and guess what? Still no miles!!!If this is how USAir chooses to do business maybe I'll UN-REFFER my friends and warn others!

Here's hoping that they will come through with that which was promised!

I had the same exact experience as AJCSTEP. To be fair I think it's the company running the promo that is retarded, not USAirways, but that's no excuse. I've saved and printed the email saying I'd get 2.5k.. I'll give them a bit before I send it up the vine.

i've requested this but none of the e-mails ever got sent to my referrals

I believe that the person referred has to sign up to receive the E-savers for you to get the miles, not for the referrals!!!
