3544quebec,

It's not that I can't see them being point earning, I can't see them even miles earning. And to add to the confusion there seems to be no mention of Aerolineas on AA website either. Does this mean that AR no longer earns miles for AA? For some reason AA is still listed as a partner on Aerolineas site... does anyone have additional info??

28 Hours of sunshine on 22 Dec? That alone would make the trip worthwhile!

Sorry I was using points in a generic sense. I did mean kilometres. I don't think you ever earned anything for general AR flights only for QF-coded AR-operated flights as indicated in my previous post.

BIM - spend anytime in South America and you will find that time passes in a totally different manner to the rest of the world.

28 hours of Sunshine .. he, he, missed that post first up!

I DID get nearly 24 hours of daylight for New Year's Eve this year, as I was down on the Antarctic Circle .. see here for a photo at midnight, and almost full light!
