Miles with Mortgage ?

Is anyone paying there mortgage with there mileage card ?

I have tried to at Wa Mutual. They want to do a cash advance
which adds a fee and I don't think you get mileage. Of course
I wouldn't run the balance on the card. But with several loans
I'd fly a lot quicker.

Any advice ?

Get a mileage earning debit card. Buy money orders.

Pls more specific. If you purchase m.o. by using debit card, it will be charged as "debit", instead of "credit". Then you got no miles. Corret me if I am wrong...

The June issue of InsideFlyer magazine talks about the rise in mileage earning debit cards. Almost all programs now offer them (it's an electronic version of paying by check) and they do earn frequent flyer miles when purchasing money orders. American and Continental offer them earning one miles per dollar spent while most of the others are one mile per two dollars spent. With an average mortgage payment of $1,100, that's just over 500 miles per month for most people.

Per conversation with Citibank CSR, I was told that you will earn miles only if you use the "credit" not "debit". Am I able to purchase the money orders by using "credit"??? Where can I buy money orders, post office??

IIRC, only BofA debit card (or check card) allowed miles on debit purchase (involves PIN) on money order before it unplugged it. Is there any other banks that rewards on debit purchase in addition to credit purchase (involves signature)?
