United's new E Upgrades
 

Here's an interesting question....

When United starts crediting your account with your mileage certs, how on earth will we be able to trade them.

I can only trade for stuff if I have the actual certs. No?

Or do you think UA will allow me to print them?
Or do you think UA will mail them out if you ask?

Or maybe you can just check-in and say that
dhammer53 said it was ok to use his 500 mile upgrade certificates!

I believe that is one of the reasons they are going to electronic certificates.

You can no longer trade them. Plus, no longer will they "forget" to collect them.
