For Stockholm visitors: 2-for-1 on the Arlanda Express train

Sorry that this is late, but for the next two weeks there is still a 2-for-1 offer on the nearly new Stockholm-Arlanda Express train.

Between ARN and central Stockholm in less than 20 minutes. Two persons travel for SEK 120 up to August 13. That makes it just as cheap as the bus.

Thanks for the info, as I'm frequently flying up to Stockholm from Malmö to visit friends. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

globalflight: The offer finishes August 13. After that, it's back to SEK 120 per adult.

Tip: You can buy tickets on the train but if you do so they cost SEK 150 (instead of SEK 120 at the ticket counter/machines). I discovered that when I rushed onto a departing train a few weeks ago.

Thanks for the info about buying before you board. It is a shame that the deal does not last till the end of the month. Thanks Again

It's back !! To December 17th.

But only on the weekends:

See: http://www.arlandaexpress.com/english/index.htm
Two for the price of one!
Between 16 September and 17 December you can bag a bargain with Arlanda Express every Saturday and Sunday!

Two people can travel on one full-price ticket for just SEK 120.

This offer is valid on all full-price tickets. Of course, our regular discounts will apply during the period.

I saw the signs at ARN last weekend. Unfortunately they were downstairs on the train platform while the ticket machine I (and my colleague) used was upstairs!

So - you have to know in advance!
