Anybody, by chance, submit an entry yet?
|
Perhaps a suitable flight plan might be built around a tour of the major cities in the world in which pudding is produced! A sort of pudding crawl if you like. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif cheers Peter |
I've submitted a flight plan -- a continuation of a quest I've already started on my own. Even have a website tracking it in place. Here's hoping http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

Coming soon:
the best and funniest contest entries http://www.johnnyjet.com/folder/repo...garchive2.html [This message has been edited by doc (edited 10-04-2000).] |
Yes, the entries have given me a lot of material to write about. A couple sample entries:
"First I would go to the virgin Islands, and Make it a non virgin, then I would go to the keys and see how fish do it, then I would go see Bob Barker, and buy him dinner, I would to steven seagels house and see if he would marry me. Then I would go to Egypt and do the dance!" "Big up pudding genius. Myself, President Clinton, and a shaman from the African Hottentot tribe will visit the sites of all the most famous plane wrecks and hijackings, from EgyptAir, to ValuJet, the multiple TWA incidents, and Patrick Swayze's "cigarette" smoke debacle. All of the inflight movies will be ones in which planes either wreck or are hijacked, such as Executive Decision or Passenger 54. An emergency copy of Debbie Does Dallas will be available for Mr. President. And we will of course, use the airlines matching those that were destroyed or hijacked in order to get to the respective sites. Before leaving on the first leg, the shaman will slightly increase the President's powers by imbuing him with the ability to turn back time. President Clinton will then turn back time at all the tragic sites we visit in order to reassemble the wrecked planes and bring back to life the dead passengers." |
PuddingGuy, did the winners get announced in the major newspaper? If so, which one was it? Where is the list of winners? I went to the WebMiles website and didn't see anything.
Are the two samples you show above two of the winning samples? Or two of the great samples? Yikes! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/eek.gif [This message has been edited by Nanook (edited 10-08-2000).] |
Hey Pudding Guy,
Can you post a link to the site where the winners will be listed. I would love to read the entires. They sound crazy and fun! |
Did anyone from Flyertalk win anything?
I have seen noone here say anything about it. I doubt that noone from this board would have won anything, given that it got more pub here with more people than likely anywhere else. I have e-mailed the for the Winner's List. |
The big announcement is now this Friday (10/13). Tracking down all the winners took more time than planned. I've since learned that one of the big winners is indeed a FlyerTalker. Quite a great trip planned, too.
The two examples above didn't win anything, but I found them funny. |
