Remember the barter system? DL is banking on this ancient form of commerce to become the latest way to get a ticket over the Internet. In partnership with barter Web site www.bigvine.com , DL will begin unloading unsold airline seats on the site later this month. The carrier's arrival at bigVine will allow "buyers," or rather barterers with trading currency accumulated from other trades on BigVine, to swap their trade dollars for air tickets.
