Wow! It appears that our colleague, the "Tucson Titan" is on to something here! This morning's newspaper had a story about Air Tran being in "preliminary" talks to acquire TWA! The merger was rated a longshot, however, since Air Tran has very little cash at this time and also needs to pay off large amounts of their own bonds next April. But Old Gold's sources were correct with their information, and his prediction may come true yet!!
