If you're still considering Fiji as an option, read the article in the news section of the June 11 (Sunday) New York Times. Apparently the unrest has little impact on most of Fiji, but the resulting lack of tourists can make it almost spooky in the hotel scene.

"$525USD per night with 21% tax"! - I'd think you could nearly cut that in half.

For that price, I'd just go to the Aman Resorts like Amandari, Amandusa or whatever! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif

the amans r also 5 stars resorts, but the ultimate has got to be the Four Seasons... http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

Check out the www.balivillas.com site for better rates. They are a legit organization.

As for Bali airfare, I have a relationship with a Southern California based agency who is a wholesaler for both SQ and CX. Send me an email if you want their number. They also have excellent hotel arrangements in Bali.

You might also check out my April Trip Report for other Bali ideas:

Just a note on cruises, remember that lots of the lower priced cabins have twin beds, not honeymoon friendly. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif
