AirTran bonus for using AMEX
 

I haven't seen this posted anywhere and I may be late but I found a little bonus on AirTran by accident yesterday while surfing.

If you use your American Express to pay for your AirTran tickets, it only takes 3 roundtrip tickets (6 vouchers) instead of the usual 6 roundtrip tickets (12 vouchers) to get a free flight certificate. Here is what the American Express web site says on their travel page:

I couldn't find out anything about this on their (AirTran) webpage, but I did call the number and they verified the info (5/22).

I consider this to be a pretty darned good deal since I fly from Dayton to Atlanta about 10 times a year during football season.

I didn't see this deal mentioned on the AirTran discussion or on the "Buzz" so I thought I would mention. Sorry if it's been posted before
