I am not sure how long this has been offered, but I just noticed yesterday ...
Trocamania moved their server and updated their site and are now offering Marriott rewards points for redemption of TROCAS.
If you haven't signed up yet, this is just one more reason to do so. They are offered in 1000, 1500, 2000, 2500 and 5000 point increments.

Shame on you RHines81. Starting a new conga for trocomania, when others were generous enough to sign up under you already in another conga, why not give those folks that were so good to you a chance to get more referrals. Also doing a search I see this isn't the first time you have done this. Folks if we aren't careful this board could become solid congas, eliminating most of the great exchange of information. I personally don't mind the congas if designated as such AND limited to one per each program. Many of the regulars are getting very fed up with all the congas especially multiple ones on the same subject like RHines81 started here. These folks know more about air travel than many of us (me included) will ever forget, we certainly don't want to lose them.

I would encourage you to sign up under MileageAddict's conga for trocomania, (I just did) he is a longstanding contributor to this board. Lets not leave the folks there (who have already given RHines81 many referals)hanging.

I just have to say (in my own defense) that I did not mean to step on people's toes or have multiple congos. Most people in here are members of trocamania already and probably don't wade through the conga line posts to see if there are any new features to this program. Therefore I felt justified (sorry if you do not agree) in starting a new topic (for information purposes). If people did not sign up before (because of the lack of rewards available), maybe they will now because they are offering Marriott Reward points. The person that referred me to trocamania, I am sure, is not complaining, as well as his/her uplines. Sorry if you do not feel like I deserve a referral or two for providing this NEW information. I thought that was the whole point of this bulletin board?

That's not the point of this board. Posting bits of news just to try to get more referrals when there is already an active news discussion is spamming. Can you imagine how hard it would be to find real news about anything if everybody posted new articles each day to try to get referrals for their favorite programs.

In the future, you should (1) use OMNI for congas and (2) make an attempt to limit your posts there to legitimate bits of news. You should also always append your awesome new information to an existing article on the topic, if a discussion is already active. Otherwise, you'll clutter up the boards so no one can find anything.
