1500 Free Miles- Lets Try This Again

I noticed on the board so many posts and some folks havent been doing the referrals for each other, so I am hoping that we can start this conga line again and that each person uses the one before as a referral so we all get credit. Please do not post asking for a referral if you yourself had not used someone as your referral. Thanks!

Vicki, there were numerous "referrals" on the last post but only one is listed in my account. Now, if everyone is jumping in referring the previous person then we all should have more referrals. I can see in the posts that some have been skipped over. For instance, it seems that Cottonpicker skipped Scribbler who was next and used Finman as his referral. It's not fair to Scribbler to be skipped when he was helping Finman and expected someone would use him (or her) as a referral. So if someone can use Scribbler next, it would be a nice gesture. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif I have been visiting Flyertalk for over a year now and have met alot of wonderful, honest, helpful people. So if we all take our turns, we all benefit by reaching our goal of getting our miles. If not, then I would think in the future folks just may not help out by taking the time to sign up using someone as a referral. See what I mean? This is a great online community which is why Flyertalk is so popular.

I got skipped on the original thread, so where does that leave me? :-( There are people profiting from me since I've been doing the click arcade each day. By the way, they say the entire page has to load, but the points are getting into my account as soon as I click on the link.

Debbie, I'm not sure how you think that solves the problem of the broken line by jumping back in and breaking the line again.
There were obviously a number of server problems that caused duplicate (and more) messages to be posted that completely confused the order of the sign-ups. Also, sometimes two referrals will come in at almost the same time frame and so one will get missed.

Here was a suggestion for those situations from another thread on here. If one referrer gets used twice at almost the same time, then the message that gets posted first gets priority and the second person should scrap the first account and start over with another email address, using the correct referrer name and then edit the original to reflect that change.

With the duplicate messages messing things up, use the same strategy, Debbie, which is what I did. Scrap your original account and start another one referring the person above you in line and keep the integrity of the thread together.

If you've got a bunch of points already earned, then that may not be attractive to you, but it's also not fair to those of us trying to maintain the system here. I got skipped too in the server chaos and just did what it took to get myself back in line.

Jumping in like you've done without a referral for the person above just causes further problems.
