question re clickmiles occasional doubling promos
 

When clickmiles offers a double redemption promo (it was mentioned in the WWF flyer talk buzz that this happens at least yearly)is there a limit to the number of points doubled like Starwood's 10000 point limit? If so can anyone tell me what this limit has been in the past? I'm trying to decide how much to donate to the WWF based on the possibility that the miles gained could be doubled at a later date. This is my first post. Thanks for responding.

I don't recall there being a limit in the past, but who knows now since they did impose a limit with the Starwood promo. Maybe Starwood asked for the limit ?? Not sure how we could tell. You might want to email customer service. Let us know.

I'm pretty sure there has been a limit on all the promotions in the past of 10,000 ClickRewards to miles.

Last promotion was very lucrative though - double miles on any airline, if I remember correctly, and less than a year ago - it was last summer.

I decided to use up some ClickRewards I had lying about - those with different email addresses. So I converted these to Starwood with the double promotion fine.

Then the WWF promotion came along and I would have exceeded the 10,000 points target, but sent the request anyway. Lo and behold, they all posted with double points so it seems the 10,000 was a per transaction maximum.
