Booking RT award flight- must wait until 331 before return??
 
Wanting to snag a hard to get business seat on Delta international RT award flight. Am I required to wait until 331 days out from my return to book the whole itinerary? (for me it's 1 mo. later). All business award seats for departure will be gone by then. Suggestions?? Thanks!

Have you compared the (mileage) cost of booking two one-way award tickets instead of RT? Depending on the difference, it might make sense to book the outbound flight while you can.

With DL that typically requires many more miles as the miles required are tied to the revenue fare.
