500 Free DL or AA Points

Go to www.greenpoints.com and follow simple instructions!

I received my AA certs over the weekend, and they are the regular transferable paper certs so familiar from the HC promotion. It took about a week and a half to get them from when I put in the order request.

Help please. I enrolled, but saw no mention of 500 miles.

dingo Mar 13, 2000 5:49 am

Me either.

Here's what you do: You go to the website; enroll (providing an e-mail address, zip code, and say that you are at least 18 and a U.S. resident), and you will be awarded 3000 "Greenpoints" just for enrolling. After you get your Greenpoints, you can redeem them for prizes. For 2700 Greenpoints, you can get a certificate worth 500 frequent flyer miles, either from American or Delta.

I just enrolled, so I can't say that all this works, but that's what's supposed to happen!

Hey Burkey

How long did it take you to get those Certs.

P.S. they also now have two promotions going on that allow you to get another 1500 free points. Fill out the personal profile (1000) and survey question (500).

Anyone notice that this is only limited to the number of email accounts you have or can get.

BSL -- about a week and half from request, actually, I submitted two requests for one each, because the second offer of the extra points came up after I requested the first. Anyway, the second cert I requested came over the weekend, but I haven't received the first one I requested yet.

As of 1 p-m... the site is down.

OMNI: did anyone realize that S&H is the same company that gave out Green Stamps (remember them? You fill up like 50 books and get like a toaster.)

Green stamps were the currency before the miles!

DH Mar 13, 2000 12:15 pm

You're right, Catman. I still remember redeeming those Green stamps when I grauded from college; I have been collecting the stamps during my college years.

I believe S&H may be one of oldest reward programs...

The membership agreement clearly states only one account per individual (not e-mail address). Hope they don't close your accounts.

Catman Mar 13, 2000 10:31 pm

TO redemn your greenpoints for miles:

*Go to the site
*Go to the search section and select "Travel and Luggage"
*Click awards 5000 miles and less
*You should see the listing for mileage certificates for American and Delta Airlines.
*Follow the instructions for cashing in your greenpoints for the certificates.

Boy, Do I remember green stamps with mother YELLING at my father when we pulled out of the gas station in the mid sixties. "You forgot to ask for greenstamps you idiot". Needless to say my mother got her "redemptions". And the marriage ended shortly after that. Not over green stamps however. This HAD to BE the easiest Delta Skymiles procurement ever. Thanks to the original poster for the FYI.And apparently they are like the HC certificates. Piece of cake!

Regards,

Mike
