BAA Card - unusual benefits!
I just love this one... BAA (British Airports Authority) owners of Heathrow, Gatwick and the other principal airports in the Uk have brought out a VISA card with some unusual benefits:
1) Free First Class upgrades on Heathrow and Gatwick Express. 2) Access to Fast Track security at Gatwick & Stansted. 3) BAA WorldPoints earning opportunities. I you are intersted: http://www.baa.co.uk Nick |
Thanks, Merry - count me in!

Good post Nick, just one question. Have you heard if they ever plan on extending WorldPoints here to the States? With their extention of airports they manage worldwide I keep thinking they would move it here as well. I've been earning points for years in and out of the airports there and keep thinking I could earn them as well in Pittsburgh one of these flights.

Thanks for the info on this.
I've registered for more details. Couldn't find anything on the link that tells you what the catch is. Annual charge maybe? Minimum level of spend to qualify for upgrades? Upgrades only available as an introductory offer perhaps? Will wait and see when the "small print" arrives. |
No catch with the BAA in regard to upgrades - except none of the on-board train employees know anything about it.
The Fast Track catch is that's either 100 points or £5 to use it. Better deal on BAA web site is COMISSION FREE foreign currency exchange if your order it through the BAA web site: www.baa.co.uk |
