LIFE TIME REWARDS ON US AIRLINES??
 

Can someone tell me which of the major US airlines offer a “life time reward” similar to the AA million miler reward? And does that have to be 1MM Elite miles? or will just any miles will do?
CO used to have life time Gold status for members who were elite for atleast
5 years in a row (yes in any combination P-G-S), but that is now out of
date....thanx in advance

There was a write-up on the subject in Inside Flyer a while back, I think that the only airline offering a top level lifetime elite is TWA.

The Continental Infinite Elite was offered to those who met the published requirements for Gold Elite for five consecutive years, and was last listed in the OnePass literature in 1993. At the time of the offering the life expectancy of the airline was much less then the majority of it's passengers!

On United it's only actual United, United Shuttle and United Express flight miles that count. Alliance status miles, status bonuses, nor any other bonus miles count toward this one level.
