Very generous move from Free Ride
 

I got this e-mail from them a day or two ago. It basically meant that I got over 1,000 free points:

Dear FreeRider,

You may have noticed an adjustment to the balance in your FreeRide Wallet.
It appeared in your wallet history on 3-7-2000 with the description,
"FreeRide Adjustment".

The reason for the adjustment is that during the site upgrade, we had to
revert back to a previous set of FreeRide data. This caused points that
you had already spent to re-appear in your wallet. Quite understandably,
you assumed that your Spend It order didn't go through, and tried to place
it again. The truth is, your order ended up going through twice, and when
the site upgrade was completed, your wallet totalled up with a negative
balance.

The FreeRide Adjustment brings your wallet total back to zero. We hope you
accept these points along with our apologies for any inconvenince that it's
caused.
