No, it wasn't a mean-spirited airline employee having a bad day. According to The Association of Flight Attendants (AFA), a Delta flight attendant was terminated after a random drug test found no evidence of drug use. The laboratory sent back a finding stating that the employee's sample was "not consistent with human urine."

Delta refused to consider explanations for the unusual reading and denied the opportunity to retake the test. The seven-year employee has no history of drug use. According to the AFA, at least five and perhaps as many as 12 flight attendants have been fired for the same screening result.

I've heard that too much airline food dehumanizes you and FA's eat a lot of airline food.
