Cattle car spotting at EWR

I was at Newark this morning at 620a, and noticed a Southwest Airlines (did not not get the series or tail number) at the United satelite in Terminal A.

Does anyone know why a WN aircraft would be at EWR? Was there an emergency landing that anyone knows of? I never thought I would see the day a WN aircraft on the ground here in EWR...

Might have been a charter. In the old days you would see Reno and Midway in a lot of off line places at odd times.

Maybe United had a flight that actually needed to take off on time... http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

Probably was Herb just droppin' in for pack of smokes or just to breathe the "crystal clear" air near EWR.

Southwest planes have landed in Buffalo and even Rochester, NY. They were all charters.
