Hertz points are a good value IMO. Although will be inhaled in less than a few minutes.

Travel dates must be between April 10, 2018 and December 31, 2019. That's an education guess, based on the language of the voucher I won last year.

It was tricky finding a suitable redemption for it because you have to find a room that is set up for pre-payment (i.e. non-refundable). The vast majority of their listings are for "no credit card required", which means they won't work for this voucher. Orbitz's search engine doesn't filter on non-refundable, so it took me hours to find a redemption worth spending $650 on.

We ended up with a 5-night stay in Manhattan for this coming Memorial Day weekend. I really wanted to spend it in Bermuda but was unable to do so, since I was looking for a price point of $200-$250 per night and non-refundable. NYC wasn't even on our radar but we excited about our upcoming trip.

Perhaps the Orbitz CSR @1-800-454-3743 could have found you an eligible property that met your needs in less time.

I don't believe so. My coworker and I usually get what we want just by clicking at the time we are supposed to.

How fast are the Hyatt packages likely to disappear?

I know that in 2017, the Choice Hotels point packages were gone in a flash, and the IHG point packages lingered for days.

Does anyone recall how long the Hyatt point packages remained available last year?
