I've had my birthday set with IHG for a long time. I didn't receive any birthday bonus this past summer. Perhaps it's something new going forward?

I've seen it before, some years ago. I've had my birthday in my profile, but I don't remember if I've ever gotten any points. Of course, it only takes a few minutes to add it to your profile.

I think it's new as I saw this added to my account status page after logging-in: Add your birthday to your profile and let us celebrate your big day along with you. It’ll just take a minute. Add my birthday

This is kinda big news as IHG require you to earn/redeem points at least once a year. This would do that.

been around for awhile. Add your birthday to your account.

You might have to follow up with IHG ( i did ) with a simple email, but they posted immediately after I asked for the points and noted the date.

Looks like I'll have to do just that as my birthday was last week and I didn't get any points.
