have had getting upgrades and free tickets.

Good article though "Inside Flyer" and this
web site beat them to it.

Yes, they have a quote from Randy in there. Also frequentflyer.com. It's actually an informative couple of paragraphs but too generalized to be very helpful.
CR is a great magazine overall. They test a lot of products and report about them in an unbiased manner. Their automobile testing is very thorough and reliable. I wouldn't buy a car without reading about it in CR.

I guess that's a glitch. The article is in this month's Consumer Reports. Nice catch though.

We all know about the difficulties in redeeming miles; it would be more useful to publish tips on what to do about it.

Again, it wasn't a comprehensive discussion of redeeming FF miles, just a few paragraphs with some guidelines and links. It won't be any use to subscribers to this site but the general public might find it helpful.
