Finally got a response, “Thank you for participating! This was a short promotion.which is now over. Sorry for any disappointment, Stay tuned for new.....”

and of course no points.

This really is very hit-and-miss, isn't it?

Having said that, I have been lucky and got the points for every single tweet.

Almost random. Today 300 points posted in my account labelled "reply to". I can only assume it's for something I've done on Twitter recently as I've done nothing else points-earning with Marriott for a while. Just that I don't recall anything recently offered with a 300 point reward. I'm not complaining, mind...

Check your twitter account. I had the same thing, and the message on my twitter account said it was an anniversary bonus. Apparently Gold members get 300 points.
