Yup, you're right. I just retweeted one from last night and got the points (and it didn't have a photo, either).

Marriott are really keeping us on our toes with all these changes.

Actually the first official tweet said ACHOTELSCHICAGO, with an S.

Yeah.

Do you know how many cities I had to "visit" to get my checkin points on that Facebook promo they had a few months back? I was exhausted by the time it was over.

I just tried it both with and without the s and I got points for the tweet without the S.

Easiest way to get points on this, go to the @marriottrewards account. They tweet and tag every successful post. Click a username that was successful, and retweet that tweet. Works fine.

Yes, the automated tweet confirmation I get from @marriottrewards is very handy for confirming I got the 50.

I've only been doing this for a week or so and I have 900 points.

*EDIT* Are there any other ways of earning free MR points besides this promotion?

Thanks. I got it to work now. It's weird though, that #ACHotelsChicago worked for a day before stopped working. Probably someone at Marriott had a typo or something.

Sorry I am not super familiar with Twitter, how does this work? I went to https://twitter.com/MarriottRewards but most of the tweets are not relevant for points.

Yes, I think there is a #mrpoints #mrfestive photo contest that earns you up to 75 points per day for three photo tweets / 150 points max per lifetime.
