The anniversary points are given out once monthly. It is based on the month you originally registered for marriott rewards. You have to have your twitter account linked through chirpify. The amount of points you get depends on your status with them.
No tweets necessary, each Marriott Rewards member with a linked twitter account will get the points once annually.
