The other points mentioned above are anniversary points which everyone linked to chirpify gets once a year. The number of points you get for your marriott anniversary will vary based on your elite status.

True, Tim, only 50c if that. But if puts you over an even thousand, it's cool. Also, they had a deal last month for 3x (500 or 450.) I had cleaned out my account with a stay. I was down to my last ~200 points. Now I have 2030. So ~$18 for playing silly games when I had little else to do.
