It's a little strange - I received the email that I earned the points for the #MRTBT, yet they are not showing up in my account. I tweeted yesterday, so was waiting until today and no points showing.

Aah, ok. I tweeted earlier today and heard nothing, thought I did it wrong. My points are expiring 2/1 though and I only have 2150. Was praying I could somehow get to 3k with these two new promos.

Just an FYI, but if you have points expiring soon, you might want to book a stay. All of the points I've received for all my tweets have not extended the expiration date of my points total. I believe this was mentioned in a few post before mine, on post 342 & 343.

Or go through the Marriott shopping portal, ShopMyWay. I think that extends it.

Does the portal definitely count? I thought I read somewhere it didn't. For me a stay is not worth it for a little over 2k points. If I can get to 2.5k (*hopefully* doable in next days) then I could at least grab a gift card.
