U.S. Visa Credit Card for Non-Resident of U.S.

As the topic suggests,I am trying to get a U.S. visa credit card but I do not live in the U.S. Whenever I begin to fill out the applications I can't complete them because I
don't have a social security number. The financial requirements are not a problem. I have a U.S. amex card, which I was able to get quite easily. I live in the Cayman islands and have a P.O. Box in Miami for mail delivery..etc. I would like to accrue miles so that I can use them on Air Canada & American, USAir. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am a Canadian citizen and got a US VISA card. I filled in the application (including my Canadian social insurance number) and exclosed a note that asked that my "billing" address be my US post box service. I got my card within 2 weeks (They sent it to my US address).

Good Luck.

I am a Canadian resident with a U.S. platinum Amex card. I have just recently applied for the FIrst USA Gold Marriott Visa card. I do have a U.S. address. Hopefully I get it 'cause I want those Marriott Rewards points!

Winnie: I guess that you are living on the Cayman Island and I do not know how US banks will treat you. But: Europeans will not get any US credit card without (north)american social sec # and northamerican residence. We are so discriminated :-)
