500 miles per stay - costs hotels about 10 euros

found an internal document (from late 2010) for a hotel company where it listed the cost for providing 500 miles per hotel stay

10 euros

not sure if this has come up before outside of individual hotel forums

500 airline miles? From any specific airline partner? Cost to them, or some fully loaded cost factoring processing, overhead, etc? Over 2 cents per mile seems high to purchase miles, at least for a US airline.

This seems to be what HQ is charging its member hotels, not the cost of the actual miles which are likely purchased by HQ. It does seem high though and should differ by air mile program. No one would pay 2 cents for a SW mile when redemption is only about 1.6 cents. The same Is true for some EU airlines.
