Discounted First Class Travel

Has anyone attempted to use the services of a supposed discounter of business and first class tickets called World Travel and Tours, Inc. at "www.1st-Air.com"? I ask because I have tried several times to get a simple quote for tickets and have never received a reply. It makes me wonder if it is a legitimate business.

carlos, I never heard of them. It could be that we seem to never get something for nothing. get rid of that email address.

CARLOS: Watch out! This sounds like a "coupon broker" who buys and sells frequent flyer awards. While this is technically not ILLEGAL, it is against airline rules. If caught, they confiscate your ticket and make you pay full fare for your trip! Also, the person who sold the award gets tossed out of the program forever. In short, it's just not worth it. If you do intend to do business with this "discounter", you should somehow verify, FOR SURE, that you are not traveling on a brokered award.

These guys have been around for several years and are a consolidator specializing in premium class air tickets. From what I understand, most of the tickets are mileage earning, as well.

Although I have never used them, I know other FTers have without difficulty.

Quotes from their management appear from time to time in the mainstream press, including the Wall Street Journal.

8 year old thread. Plenty of discussion of the subject in TravelBuzz. Not directly mileage related. I'll close this one. ;)
