1000 IHG Points for Using your new IHG card
 

Not sure if this is posted. Got the new version couple weeks ago, and there was an offer with it. Make a purchase with your new IHG card, and 1000 point will be deposited into your account. Just go out and buy a smoke or drink with it. Anyone else got same offer here?

Yes, I got the offer, too, but I believe that it is targeted only to people whose IHG card was converted from a Visa to a Mastercard. I already got my 1000 points.

Our points posted within a week or so of using the cards.

But when was your card statement issued, bj2757?

In other words, did the points post on the statement after you used the card, or between statements? :confused:

If on the statement, that's important to explain, because everyone has a different statement closing date.

My points posted just after my statement date (and after I had made one purchase with the new card).

Points posted with statement closing which was shortly after 1st MC use, for me.

I got a note saying new cards and a special offer were coming. The only trouble was that I already had MC. Oops. I guessed what had happened, but I bet there were a few calls to CSR's that day.

Ah, got the 1000 points and was wondering where they came from. Good to know.

It works. Made a small purchase, and the bonus points posted.

Purchased a mocha, and the 1010+ points posted in the next statement.

I spent $1 and got 1000 points about two weeks later. No complaints!

Still waiting on mine to post - think I'll wait till statement closes before saying anything
