More miles from Citibank Aadvantage
 

I have been reading messages in flyertalk for four months now but have never registered or made a posting. This is my first and I apologize if this is not the forum to post the current message.

Anyway, I recently received a notice from Citibank regarding a new Aadvantage credit card for online purchases. This card can only be used for online purchases. With this card, you get one mile for every dollar spent plus for a limited time, if you sign up before 12/15/99 you get two miles for every dollar spent until 5/31/00.

The card is free as long as you have a Citibank Aadvantage Card (Anyone of the three). Otherwise it is $50 per year. This is regarded as a seperate card with it's owe line of credit.

I am not sure whether you need to get invited to apply for this card, however I am posting the web site and phone # so that my fellow frequent flyers can try and apply. Good Luck.

nope, no invite needed, I tried to sign up for this (Click Citi) card on the Citibank website, but it never worked for me. Also, you can used it as a Mastercard as well.

I just signed up and got an immediate account number and credit limit. The double miles will be a nice boost to the Aadvantage account. Thanks for the post, and welcome to Flyer Talk !
