Mypoints, Vacationmiles & adresses outside US
 

I try to redeem the 5000 points awards on vacationmiles this morning and receive a error message "no shipping to the country of your adresses". I'm canadian so i think that they if they don't send awards in Canada they while not send it anywhere else. Someone got the same problems? Is the only way to go over it is to ship to a friend in the US that will send it back to you after he receive your mail. I think i've got to make a friend in US...but how.

I wonder if anyone here in Australia has tried it yet ? (Peter ??)

This is a concern but not an insurmountable problem.

I'm sure somebody in the USA will put up their hand to assist you bu letting you use their address. (Mileageaddict?)

BTW I have emailed Mypoints about this problem and asked whether they could arrange an alternative way of allowing non-USA members to convert their Mypoints into AA miles. I look forward to their answer.
