2,500 Bonus Points for Southwest New Members

You get 2,000 points for signing up.
You get 250 points for signing up for the Rapid Rewards Report e-mail summary.
You get 250 points for signing up for the Rapid Rewards E-mail update.
Not bad if you don't already have a Southwest account!

Those that have signed up with this offer, did your 2000 bonus points post immediately? I signed up my brother yesterday, and his account still shows a zero balance.

Funny, I never look at the MilesBuzz forum but since the SuperBowl was all but over, I decided to check it out. Like the OP, I am about to get the CP. Of course, I never thought to sign my family up for RR even though we just booked a trip to Denver for July, so this is very timely.

What's odd is if I go to the "regular" southwest.com site, I get a similar page that offers just 250 points for new members (+250 and +250 for the other items also). Its only by following your link do I see a way to get 2000 points for new members. Is this a targeted promotion perhaps?
