Agree depends on buying habits. I live in an urban area - the closest Walmart is an hour away, so I never go there. I do go to Walgreens a lot. My purchases if anything was replacing what I usually get on Amazon.
I did want to hit $100 to get the final 1000 mile bonus. So 2500 miles for $100 is a good effective discount for us. |

Did anyone buy a different type of gift card? If so, how did you do it? |
Datapoint: Walgreen's 16 miles bonus is now DEAD. It's only 3 miles per $.

Bought $100 GC and waited for it to be confirmed, then bought another $1k in GC and they have all been confirmed for the 15x points. Now i gotta go use these to buy Visa/Amex GCs in a Walgreens store, and then drive across the street to CVS to buy VR's. Kind of wish i would have bought more, but didn't want to push it.

When did you buy yours? I bought one $100 GC on Fri and I am not seeing anything yet. Also not sure Walgreens will let you buy a gift card with a gift card...
