Help needed: computer-friendly airlines?

Hello,

I am writing an article for Small Business Computing Magazine about which airlines are most friendly to computer-using flyers -- and which aren't. Topics can range from the quality of the connections available in the special lounge areas to grief you've received about carrying on computing equipment to ... whatever.

I need your expertise and anecdotes for my article. Please respond here and to my e-mail address: [email protected].

Thanks in advance for your help.

David - welcome.

Just browsing trough these different sites and topics will give you already plenty of informations - and then I am sure, if you have specific questions you will get specific answers.

David, I do not have a laptop, but on my experiences on United and COntinental in
business and first class I have not seen any
problems my fellow travelers have experienced. In fact, this holds true in Coach.

The flight staff generally does not mind the
machinery as long as they are turned off and
turned on. IT's become so common to me no
one seemed phased to see a laptop on board.

This is a good article and when you are done
I'd like a copy (to help me when I have to
use one in the air.)

GOOD LUCK! CATMAN

I meant to add "when turned on and turned off
during Taxi, takeoff and landing." The more
I fly the more laptops I see.

Sorry about the incomplete though. Yaz my
cat distracted me. CATMAN

Check out BA's web site (www.british-airways.com) they have a 'Club Europe Business Centre' at Heathrow T1.

The center was set up by Hewlett-Packard for BA, and in all things BA - is oh so cool (aircraft paint job excepted!).

It's the best facility of it's kind I know.

That should inspire Rudi!

It is just not possible to be more than 100 percent inspired. I am - thanks.
