VISA NextCard Platinum
VISA NextCard Platinum: up to DOUBLE
frequent flyer miles, as low as 2.9% intro APR, complete online account management, and NO annual fee. http://www.pcworld.com/r/dd/1,2061,dd-nextcard0921b,00.html |
Looks like you need to be in debt to the company to get this for "free", i.e. you must have a "qualifying" outstanding balance to get the 2 miles for every dollar spent or in their words: "Those new accounts that do not transfer a balance and elect the upgrade that includes the NextCard Rewards Program will pay an annual membership fee and receive single points, currently equivalent to 5 BonusMail credits, for every $1 in net purchases charged to their account each month, whether or not the previous balance is paid in full." They do not state what the annual fee is.

You don't actually earn airline miles with this card ... you earn BonusMail points, which can be redeemed for frequent flier miles.
Currently BonusMail only offers Alaska Airlines Frequent Flier miles. They like to tout that you can use these miles on several different airlines, but I still wish they offered Delta (or United or American or something ...). They used to have more choices, including United, so I don't know if Alaska Airlines is their choice for now, or if they will maybe change airlines again in the future. You can find out more about BonusMail at: http://www.bonusmail.com |
