Advice posts needs to stop
 

I dont think it's right for all these people asking for help when its apparent they dont try to learn. They read stupid blogs, find out its too time consuming to learn and just come for help. Granted i ask for help but i put hours snd hours to learn. Looking at these posters, they barely have 2-3 posts before their "help" posts!!

Can we put a stop to this or create a seperate forum for them?

Wow, really? A grudge against new FT members? It certainly cannot be this kind of attitude that attracts new members to FlyerTalk. :td: What is wrong with helping new members? Today we help them, tomorrow they will teach what they learn to someone else....and the wheel goes round and round.

May I remind you of your 7 "help/advice" threads within 1 month of you joining FT? Perhaps it will serve as a reminder since you feel you are above helping new members now.

Milesbuzz has deteriorated into a practically useless forum because of all the advise threads


If this is REALLY something that is desired, they should spin it off like the CC deals and manufacture spend subs

And I agree with OP, too many people asking for help, not enough time put in. When I asked for help with French Polynesia, I created the primer and organized a lot of info found in the various threads people where recommending.


And guess what, it's a damned successful thread.

You didn't do anything wrong. Currently, this is the right forum for these sorts of requests. Welcome to FT!

Everything that once was discussed in MilesBuzz is now discussed blogs. Sad but true. FT is will struggle to stay relevant.

Not true at all. It all depends on the users (especially the ones that stay on topic in threads). Most blogs are garbage sandwiched between credit card ads.
