need help or suggestion

I am thinking of an 18 days trip next year but not sure where to go. I have enough Aeroplan and Avios points and 65000 Mileage Plus points to redeem tickets, economy or business class does not matter but would like to maximize free stop overs in one redemption. I will be flying out from Toronto and would like to visit Europe, Bali, Hong Kong, Dubai and Australia. I know it's impossible to visit all these places in one trip, 3-4 countries would be idea, any suggestion on which program to redeem and routing with minimal points required and maximum visits in one single redemption. Appreciated for any suggestion. Thanks

Here's a suggestion

You're looking for an 18 days trip? Scrap your entire plan and pick one country. You'll get more out of it. Unless all you want to see are the airports.

You are looking at WAY TOO MUCH. As a minimum, limit your trip to one continent. Visit 2 or 3 countries, spending a minimum of 3 days in each CITY. Even 3 days is a minimum in many cities. For example, you could easily spend 5 or more days in Paris and still not see all of it. Then a couple of days in Champagne. Then possibly a few days in Cannes or Nice (visit Eze, Monte Carlo, see perfume factories etc). Even that leaves out many areas in France (Burgundy etc.). As you can see, you can spend the entire 18 days just seeing parts of France. Remember, travel between cities often takes the better part of a day.

If you really want to see "everything" then you should sign up for a bus tour. They can get you to many places in a very short amount of time (but you will not get to really see and understand the area).

If you want to stick to your "original" plan, then before anyone can give you any help, you need to reduce your goals to something manageable and understandable (you can't say "I want to see the world in 18 days, tell me what I would like best - and how to do it on miles").

I agree with the posters above, but let's set aside our personal preferences. If you want to see as much as possible, you should look into Aeroplan's mini-RTW award to maximize intercontinental travel. Then, use Avios for shorter hops where possible and appropriate (e.g., SYD-MEL, or intra-Asia if there are OW partners flying the route).

The 65K UA miles could get you a nice round trip to Asia. Perhaps you can fly to SE asia (BKK, SIN, or KUL ) as a final destination and then have a stop over in Northern Asia (China, Japan, Korea). You can buy cheap inter-asia flights. I agree that you should probably just pick a few countries.
