Hi Everyone! First post so please go easy on me =)

I’m planning to go to the Philippines with a stopover in Korea from mid-late February with my husband and would like to do the following:

1) Buy US Airways 50k pts (+50k bonus) for $1750
2) Reinstate my old US Airways 35k pts for $150
3) Transfer 40K UR pts to Marriott (combined with my existing 158k MR) to purchase 50K US Airways pts + 7 nights Cat 5 hotel
4) With the 180K US Airways pts from doing 1, 2, and 3, Purchase 2 Business Class roundtrip tickets (IAD – ICN – MNL – ICN – IAD)

Total $$ spent: $1900
Total MR used (existing): 158K
Total UR used: 40k

My question is…. Is it worth using all of that MR and UR pts used + dollar spent for two roundtrip business class tickets and 7 nights Cat 5 hotel?

also, what is the cost for coach & hostels? & how many mi would you get from the trip?
