Lufthansa's auction Aug 18
 

For all of you wanting a thrill, there is an auction announced on the Lufthansa web site. They are not only auctioning off flights with VERY specific city pairs and departures, etc. but also some other goodies, like a flight on an old plane, some collectibles, etc. One particularly caught my eye for the jaded among us: SFO to Sana'a, Yemen on Oct 12 to 22! We were just there on a Persian Gulf cruise. It truly is one of the more interesting spots in the world! Architecture like you have never seen anywhere else and no oil money. More mundane destinations inc most of Europe, Instanbul and Tel Aviv. Have fun!
